Responsibilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Responsibilities occasionally may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/weekend hours in order to meet deadlines or to access the computer to perform program tests.
- Participate in die process of revising and implementing changes in both the automated and manual components of the HIS.
- Respond appropriate to requests and concerns from users or others affected by the system.
- Implement and maintain HIS security and confidentiality mechanisms in accordance with user and/or KFMMC policies and procedures.
- Provide proactive user support of the HIS including, but not limited to, training and education.
- Assist in evaluation and development of training and in-service programs.
- Participate in systems analysis and research related to the HIS.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of: current trends and issues in healthcare, nursing practice, healthcare informatics, national and state-wide standards and regulations, enterprise policies and procedures as related to clinical practice, and the legal implications of the HIS.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or related field.
- Diploma in Computer related to Computer Software Development.
- Membership of appropriate computer professional organization.
- Oracle Certification (any)
- Microsoft Certificates
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Knowledge and skills in fifth generation languages and web development tools.
- Must have knowledge of medical/clinical practices, technical and operational issues in medical technology areas.
- Ability to manage/maintain ORACLE and/or SQL databases in a production environment.
- Ability to learn new medical systems, techniques and processes.
- Skills in medical programming and testing techniques, query techniques for the reports and database management.
- Shown experience in developing medical-related systems
- C+ and Java Programming languages. HTML/XML coding. Visual Basic. C#, .NET Programming and Crystal Reports.
- Good understanding of Visual FoxPro
- Strong background in relational database and post-relational database
- Good understanding of web databases
- Proven experience in interfacing medical equipment
- Male, 24 - 45 years old.
- Applicants must be willing to work in DHAHRAN.
