Duties and Responsibilities:
* Diagnoses and repairs reported malfunctions.
* Maintains and repairs high-voltage cables, HV switch gears and transformers. Extensive experience in HV cable jointing.
* Installs new systems and maintains and modifies existing ones.
* Makes estimates of material requirements and informs superior of needs.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Must possess a diploma/certificate in a recognized electrical training program in High Voltage.
* At least 10 years experience as a High Voltage electrician. Must be fully acquainted with the relevant regulations for the safe operation and maintenance of high voltage distribution systems.
* Ability to read, write and speak English. Knowledge of Arabic language is desirable.
